4 WARRIORS NAMED TO IHSHL TRAVEL ALL STAR TEAM!
The All Star Selection Committee for the Illinois High School Hockey League's north-central division recently selected its slate of All Stars, who will take on the top players from the Illinois West league. Out of the 13 teams in the north-central's top-tiered Champions Division, Deerfield will be sending the most players - 3 forwards and a goalie - to the game, which will take place on March 8th, at 8 PM, at West Meadows Ice Arena, in Rolling Meadows. Congratulations to Josh Becker, Dustin Zimberoff, Miles White, and Alex Richter, for being selected to represent the north-central division.
This is the second year of the "east-west" game format, and the rivalry between the two divisions has already made the event a must-see classic. Warrior fans are encouraged to come out and support the north-central division team, and to cheer on the DHS All Stars. In addition to the inter-division travel All Star game, there will also be an intra-division north-central All Star game, which will take place on February 4th, also at West Meadows. Players for that game have not yet been selected, so watch this space for updates.
