JV Wins Kings Kup Preseason Tourney!

Congratulations to our JV team for capturing the Kings Kup Preseason Tournament JV2 championship! The team started off hot with a dominating 9-0 win over Lincoln-way followed up by a convincing 6-1 win over Evanston to capture the #1 seed in pool play. On Sunday, the team battled a tough New Trier team to a 5-1 win, securing their spot in the championship game. The championship was a back and forth battle with Lake Forest. Deerfield eventually took control of the game to go up 3-0 but Lake Forest would make a late push and scored with a few minutes left to put the pressure on. Deerfield was able to hold on to secure a 3-1 championship win. Congratulations to JV on their outstanding team effort. Way to go Warriors!
