Welcome to Deerfield High School Fall Hockey! Registration for the upcoming season is now open.

As in previous years, the program will feature two teams: one Varsity team and one Junior Varsity team. As the season approaches, we will send additional details to all registrants regarding tryouts, team placements, and practice schedules.

Program Overview:

• Season Dates: Mid-September to February 1. Playoffs thereafter.

• Games: Varsity will play approximately 24 regular season games; JV will play approximately 20 regular season games.

• Tournaments: We anticipate participating in four tournaments (three of which will be close to home / driving distance): A Preseason tourney, a Nashville tourney, Thanksgiving tourney, and a tourney to be named later

• Practices: Held 2–3 times per week, typically in the evenings.

• Rinks: Northbrook Sports Center and Twin Rinks in Buffalo Grove.

• Fees: This season, fees will increase to support having IBJI-certified athletic trainers at all home games and a new off-ice program.

Fundraising Fee (Fully Refundable): To support the program’s operating expenses throughout the season, a $500 fundraising deposit will be required at registration. This fee is fully refundable through participation in two team-organized fundraising events during the Fall season. More information will be provided on these fundraising activities in August.

Team Placement and Deposit Policy: Please note, once a player is placed on a team, the deposit becomes non-refundable, even if the player chooses not to participate.
